China-Australia Unconventional Natural Gas Forum and Exhibition
Recently the UQ Centre for Coal Seam Gas partnered with the CUP(B) (CBM Research Centre) to host the China-Australia Unconventional Natural Gas Forum in Jincheng, Shanxi Province, China from 11-14 September 2018.
Profs Garnett, Underschultz, Towler, Johnson and Esterle all delivered presentations at the conference.
This event was attended by around 400 people and provided an opportunity for UQ to showcase the leading coal seam gas related research being conducted in Australia.
Prof Garnett advised that the conference was very well supported by Chinese researchers and the Chinese coalbed methane industry and a number of valuable connections had been made.
