The Gas and Energy Transition Research Centre is a centre of applied research excellence.
The Centre was founded through a unique university-industry-government collaboration and partnership model. The model enables organisations and individuals to fund multi-party research and educational activities as financial members. Current members are UQ, Arrow Energy, Santos and APLNG.
Working with the Gas and Energy Transition Research Centre is not limited to Members. There are also opportunities for organisations and individuals to invest in research projects and to undertake contract research.
The Centre has been successful in securing significant funding through the Commonwealth Government’s Australian Research Council Linkage Projects scheme, the National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) Project Fund, and the State Government’s Advance Queensland Innovation Partnership.
