A panel of successful academics with strong links to industry as well as industry representation will present on the topic of engaging industry in reserach projects on Thursday, 8 June from 14-16 pm, at St Lucia campus. The panel will discuss examples of how they got started, what worked well, what aspects could have been improved etc.
The Centre for Coal Seam Gas (CCSG) is represented by the Director of CCSG, Prof Andrew Garnett, who has more than 25 years of industry experience with oil majors world-wide. Other presenters count Senior Research Fellow in the UQ DOW Centre, Bronwyn Laycock, and David K. Martin from Aus-Industry - Innovation Connections.

There will be an interactive Q&A session after the presentations followed by afternoon tea and networking.
"Building bridges" is organised by the Early/Mid-Career Researcher Committee of the EAIT Faculty.
