Want to learn about the new 3D Water Atlas?

13 February 2017

If you are interested in learning more about professional use of the new 3D Water Atlas, QU Associate Professor Sue Vink, who led the project of developing the atlas, will be giving a presentation at QUT.

In short, the new water atlas covering most of the Surat Basin is a web-based application for visualising spatial and temporal groundwater chemistry trends on regional and local scales in conjunction with the Surat geological model.

The web atlas is unique as it allows users such as researchers and government officials to interactively study and compare quality assured and controlled groundwater data in 3D.

The event takes place on Wednesday 15 February 2017 at 5 pm at QUT, Garden's Point Campus, in building D, room D108. It is organised by IAH, Queensland branch.

Refreshments will be served after the presentation at a charge of $5 for members and $10 for non-members of IAH.

Please register for the event with Dr Lucy Reading from QUT by email.
