The Team Total Grant 2018 initiative offers a total of €80,000 (about 120,000 AUS) in funding for student projects ranging from geological field trips to sporting challenges and local community development.
The competition will be open for applications from 7 September to 17 November 2017.
Part of the initiative called “DISCOVER” grants offers support for geoscience and petroleum engineering student associations to undertake field trips and participate in international conferences or professional development activities.
In addition to the DISCOVER grants, there are three other categories:
PUSH YOUR LIMITS – offers funding for a sporting competition, adventure challenge or cultural event.
INNOVATE – supports student organisations with a passion for innovation and sustainable energy, wanting to bring a new idea to life.
MAKE IT BETTER – offers funding for projects aiming to improve living standards in students’ own community or overseas (this category had a winning team from UQ last year).
